“The songs bring back memories of the old times and will for many that will listen” ReverbNation – Crowd Review
“Amy Faith has the voice of an angel and a heart tempered by life experience. Her stories and ballads will touch a place in your soul where dreams and holiness belong. It’s not every day that we discover a musician whose life and character are as rich as their music. But that rare combination is brought together in Amy!” Don Stephens – Youth With A Mission (YWAM)
Amy Faith Morley is a singer songwriter from a small town in the Black Country, Birmingham. A passionate performer with rich, warm vocals and a quirky sense of humour! Even as early as twelve years old, Amy began organising her own local shows for charities including the Kosovo crises and children in need. By the time Amy was sixteen years old she had scooped first place out of 100 entries in MQO2 competition. Which led to being featured on a live tour with Beacon radio followed throughout England including a Summer XS Festival, to 25,000 people, on the bill that featured Craig David, Claire Sweeney, Darius, Hear Say and So Solid Crew’s Romeo.
Amy completed her education in Music before spending 3 years at a Bible College, in Swansea after an encounter that changed her life and set her on a journey in the Christian faith. During this time she formed lifelong friendships with students from other nations, including meeting her would-be husband Josh. Amy has a love and passion for people and together with Josh they have served overseas in India, Albania, Hungary, and Armenia, supporting churches, orphans and homeless people. Her most recent work was serving in Lesvos, Greece at the 2016 refugee crisis which she described as ‘Heart-breaking but life changing and even at times, Miraculous’ Her compassion for others, she believes, comes from personally experiencing the love of God who has taken her on a journey of ‘inner healing’ and ‘miracles’!
In 2015 with a suitcase and guitar in hand, Amy did a live UK tour by Train to various churches, pubs, youth clubs and a soup kitchen for the homeless and shared her story between songs from her recent debut album.
The debut album ‘Morning Star’ is an uplifting blend of contemporary Country, Folk and Pop music. This story is about hope but will take you through a musical roller coaster as Amy sings about hopes and dreams, injustice and pain, faith and joy.
